Welcome to the “Rhythms Quilt” Quilt-a-long!
Isn’t this the most intimidating part of the quilting process? You’ve chosen a beautiful quilt pattern, you have the recipient in mind, but now it’s time to select fabrics and the options are ENDLESS. With an infinite combination of prints, solids, textures, etc., it’s overwhelming! The key to selecting appropriate fabrics for the Rhythms Quilt to balance contrast, print scale, and hue. What does this mean? Well, let’s get into it!
Welcome to the Rhythms Quilt Along! I’m so excited to be working through this pattern with you.
My name is Casey Cometti and I am the quilter behind Wellspring Designs. I am a wife, mother of 4, and textile artist living in Northern Wyoming. I took up sewing and quilting soon after my first daughter was born, and in January of 2021 started Wellspring Designs. It has been such a joy to design quilts and fabric for modern quilters. My desire is to create quilt patterns and fabric collections that equip intentional homemakers with beautiful materials to express their personal style while curating a home. This business has been an exciting journey, and I am so thankful to everyone that has purchased a pattern. I would not be here without ya'll.

Here are the Rhythms Quilt Along details:
- Who: You, me and this creative community of quilters!
- When: February 5th - March 11th (5 weeks total)
- Where: There will be a weekly newsletter and blog post available each Monday! We will be sharing over on Instagram using the #RhythmsQAL hashtag!
- How: To participate, grab the pattern, sign up to make a wall-hanging or throw Rhythms Quilt with us. We'll have weekly sponsors offering a discount code to those participating, and a grand prize at the end! To enter the grand prize drawing, post a weekly photo by Sunday night of each week. Of course, feel free to post more photos than the weekly one. For credit, make sure your profile is “public” and use the #RhythmsQAL hashtag so we can see your pictures!
